Leads

Photography enquiry form: an enquiry sent at midnight gets your reply straight away.

An enquiry form on your own website, with your studio's name on it. Enquiries go into a simple list of leads, get a branded first reply if you want one, and become a client and a booking as soon as they say yes.

You don't have to forward enquiry emails to yourself any more.

What's inside

Live now, and included on every plan.

  • An enquiry form you add to your existing website with one small snippet. You set the wording, the accent colour and the fields, such as phone, preferred date, venue or an optional budget range.
  • Enquiries arrive three ways, all into the same list. There's the form on your website, a branded page for the link in your Instagram bio, and your delivered galleries, where a guest who loved the photos can enquire on the spot.
  • Spam is kept out of your way. Obvious spam goes to a separate list, where nothing is deleted and nothing triggers your auto-reply. If someone floods the form with fake submissions, it pauses briefly so real enquiries don't get buried.
  • Lead stages that follow how enquiries really progress: new, contacted, quoted, then won or lost.
  • An automatic reply goes out as soon as an enquiry arrives, under your studio's name. It's on from your first day. You can rewrite the words or switch it off.
  • Convert a won lead in one step. It becomes a client, and a booking if you want one, and the enquiry history comes with it.
  • Source tracking shows whether each lead came from your website, a referral, or a conversation you entered yourself.

The first video shows the whole process. The three below show each way an enquiry comes in: the link for your bio, the form for your website, and quick add for enquiries that arrive as messages.

The capture form, up close

Your website collects the enquiry. Tellisto keeps track of it.

The form sits on your own site with your wording, your accent colour and the fields you chose. A visitor fills it in on the couch at 11pm. By the time you open Tellisto, they’re in your leads list with a reply already sent.

The form runs in a cross-origin iframe (a frame that loads from Tellisto, not from your site). That means your site’s theme, plugins and scripts can’t read what someone types into it. You can also choose exactly which sites are allowed to show your form, and your email address is never exposed.

How it runs your week

What it changes about an ordinary week.

No copying and pasting at 11pm

The form on your site sends enquiries straight into Tellisto. You don't forward emails to yourself or retype names into a spreadsheet. When you open the app in the morning, the enquiry is waiting under New with everything the client wrote.

The first reply has already gone

Switch on the enquiry reply and every enquiry gets a friendly reply as soon as it arrives, in your words and under your name. A couple who emailed five photographers at midnight hears back from you first.

Convert once, and everything follows

When they book, you convert the lead once. That creates the client record and the booking together. Later, the invoice, gallery and follow-up emails all attach to that same record. Nothing gets retyped or lost.

Each part connects to the next.

Every part of Tellisto passes the job on to the next, from enquiry to delivery, so you never type the same details twice.

Frequently asked questions

Questions photographers ask

How do I get the form onto my website?

Copy one small embed snippet into your existing site. That works with Squarespace, WordPress, Showit or anything else that accepts embed code. The form uses the title, fields and accent colour you set, so it looks like part of your site, not something added on.

Will I get spam through it?

Very little will reach you. Obvious junk (throwaway addresses, lists of links, gibberish) goes to a "possible spam" list you can check. Nothing is deleted. An enquiry marked as spam never triggers your auto-reply, so a spammer never gets a branded email from your studio. If the form is hit by a flood of fake submissions, it pauses for a few minutes and then starts again by itself, so the real enquiries don't get buried. Your email address is never published on the form, so there's nothing there for spammers to collect.

Can I add enquiries that come by phone or Instagram?

Yes, two ways. Add them by hand and they go into the same list, tagged with where they came from, so a DM enquiry gets the same follow-up as a website one. Or give Instagram its own entry point: a page version of your enquiry form, designed for phones, that sits at the link in your bio. It carries your branding and sends enquiries into the same list.

Does the automatic reply sound like a robot?

It sounds like you, because you write it. Set the words once and they go out under your studio's name. If you'd rather reply personally every time, leave the switch off. Everything else still works.
