Search their name and everything is in front of you before they finish their first sentence: what they booked, what they paid, what was delivered and what was said. You sound like a studio with a back office, because now you have one.

Past clients become future clients

The couple you shot this year are the people most likely to book an anniversary shoot, a maternity session or family portraits. Tellisto tracks when each client last booked, so the ones who've gone quiet appear in a rebook list. They don't get lost in a list of four hundred names. You still choose who to email, which is the part you'd never want automated anyway. When they say yes, the new booking goes on the same record, with their whole history already there.

Frequently asked questions

Questions photographers ask

Can I bring my existing client list across?

Yes. Add clients as you go, or tell us what you run today and we'll help you move your list across. You don't need to move everything before you start. One client and one shoot is enough.

What's the difference between active, past and archived?

They're filing labels, nothing more. Active is your current clients. Past means the work is done but you expect to work with them again. Archived hides them from view. Nothing automatic depends on the labels. The rebook list is built from actual booking dates whether you use the labels or not, and nothing is deleted either way.

What happens when a past client comes back?

You add the new booking (or the new enquiry) to the same client record. There's no duplicate client and no re-entering details. Their galleries, invoices and history are already there, and their last-booked date updates on its own.

Can one client have several people on it?

Yes. Add as many contacts as the job really has, each with a role and their own details, and mark one as primary. Wedding enquiries rarely involve just one person.

Do my clients ever see Tellisto?

Only you see the client record. Everything a client sees (the gallery, the invoice, the emails) carries your studio's name and branding. Tellisto's name appears in exactly two places. One is the small privacy link in the gallery footer. The other is the Vault checkout, where Tellisto is the seller on the client's card statement.
