The short, honest version

This note covers this marketing website. The Tellisto app itself, where your account, your clients and your galleries live, has its own full privacy policy: read it here.

What this site collects

Nothing. There’s no account here, no newsletter and no forms, and browsing asks you for nothing. Signing up happens in the app, under the app’s policy.

The cookies, all of them

If you tell us what you shoot (the picker on the home page, or visiting a “for photographers” page), we remember it in a cookie called tw_persona so the site can stay relevant on your next visit, and so the app doesn’t have to ask again if you sign up. It is a single word like “wedding”, it is not tied to who you are, and clearing your cookies removes it.

If you already have a Tellisto account, the app sets a small t_plan cookie that this site reads so the buttons make sense for you (“Open your studio” instead of “Start free”). It says which plan you’re on and nothing else. And our analytics tool, below, sets its own cookie to tell one visit from the next.

Analytics, plainly

We use PostHog, a product-analytics tool hosted in the European Union, and while Tellisto is new we have it turned up: pages visited, clicks and scrolling, session replays of how the site is used, and any JavaScript errors, so we can find confusing pages and broken things fast and fix them. We do not hand any of it to ad networks, we do not sell it, and we do not build a profile for anonymous visitors. Session replays mask every form field, so what you type into the waitlist never appears in a recording.

Cloudflare, who serve this site, also count page views for us through their own analytics. It sets no cookie and identifies nobody; it tells us which pages get read and nothing about who read them.

Where things are stored, named plainly

For the app itself: Tellisto is an Australian business, built and run from Sydney. Your galleries, including the ones clients keep in the Client Vault, are stored on Cloudflare R2 and delivered over Cloudflare’s network, which is why they open fast wherever your clients are. Cloudflare is a US-incorporated company with a global network, so we don’t claim Australian data residency, and US lawful-access laws can apply. We’d rather say that plainly than imply something the infrastructure doesn’t guarantee. The app’s privacy policy covers this in full.
