Moving from Táve (VSCO Workspace) to Tellisto
Export your contacts, jobs, quotes and contracts from Táve (now VSCO Workspace) before you cancel, then set up the jobs you have on now in Tellisto.

What this does
Táve (now VSCO Workspace) exports your Address Book, Leads, Jobs, Quotes and Orders as CSVs, and your questionnaire responses one template at a time. Contracts have no bulk export: they come out one job at a time, printed to PDF. Email templates and workflows have no export at all, so you copy those out by hand.
The order matters more here than with most platforms. Táve/VSCO Workspace closes your account the moment you cancel, with no grace period to go back for something you missed. So the guide gets everything out first and sets up your current work in Tellisto second. Cancelling comes last, once you’ve checked that every file you exported opens.
Set it up
These steps describe Táve as it was in July 2026. Please check their current help pages before you cancel, downgrade or delete anything.
Step 1 of 3 · 25 min
Get everything out of Táve
Your contacts, leads, jobs, quotes, orders, questionnaire responses and contracts saved to your own computer, before anything happens to your Táve account.
- Táve was acquired and rebranded as VSCO Workspace: same login, same data, new name. Everything below still applies whichever name you see.
- Export your contacts first. Open the Address Book list, click the download icon top-right, choose all columns, and export as CSV.
- Export your Leads, Jobs, Quotes, and Orders the same way: open each list in turn and click the download icon top-right, choosing all columns each time. The Orders export only covers invoice metadata, not the line-item detail; if you need the exact line items for a particular job, open that order and print it to PDF as well.
- Export your questionnaire responses. Open Questionnaire Responses, pick a template from the dropdown, and click Export Responses. Repeat for each template you've used.
- Save your contracts as PDFs, one job at a time. There's no bulk export for contracts: open a job's Contracts tab, click Print, then Print to PDF. Don't try to do your whole history in one sitting; pick out the jobs whose contracts you'd actually need again and save those first.
- Copy out any email templates and workflows you want to keep. Neither has an export, so open each one you actually use and paste the text into a document. Most photographers only use a handful.
- Don't cancel yet. This is the one to take seriously with Táve/VSCO Workspace: cancelling closes your account immediately. Their own help docs say you'll no longer have access to your client data or account setup the moment you do it, with no grace period. Open every file above and check it actually loads before you touch your subscription.
Step 2 of 3 · 15 min
Set up your active work in Tellisto
Your current clients, open leads and upcoming shoots set up in Tellisto and ready to use.
- Import the contacts file you just exported. In Tellisto, open Clients → Import, choose Spreadsheet / other as the source, check the columns line up, look over the preview and confirm. Names, emails and phone numbers come across in one go. Only contacts are imported, so bookings and invoices stay in your export files. Import contacts
- Then add your open leads from your Leads export: anyone you've quoted or are still talking to. Put the gist of the conversation in the enquiry detail so the thread isn't lost. Add a lead
- Create your upcoming shoots as bookings, from your Jobs export. Pick the client you just added, set the date and location, and the deposit and total if there's money attached. Tellisto carries the client's details across, so there's no re-typing. Add a booking
- Now check it. Open your Clients list and look for everyone you're working with this month, each with an email or phone number. From today, that list is the one you work from. Open your Clients list
Step 3 of 3 · 5 min
Keep the archive, then cancel
Your full history saved in your own storage, and your Táve/VSCO Workspace subscription cancelled.
- Put every file from the first task somewhere safe: your backup drive, Google Drive, Dropbox. The CSVs, the questionnaire exports, the contract PDFs, all of it. You'll rarely open them, but the day you need a 2023 contract, you'll have it.
- Double-check the contract PDFs and questionnaire exports actually opened and look right. Because access ends the moment you cancel, this is your last chance to spot a bad export and run it again.
- Cancel from Settings → Manage Subscription. Remember: this closes the account immediately, so only do it once everything above is confirmed safe on your own computer.
