Edit a gallery after you've delivered it

You’ve sent a gallery and then spotted something: a typo in a set name, a frame you meant to cut, or a better cover you wish you’d chosen. This page shows how to fix it without your client ever seeing a half-finished gallery. By the end you’ll know how editing after delivery works, how versions let you undo a push, and how to check your changes before anyone else sees them.

Editing gives you a private draft

As soon as you start editing a delivered gallery, Tellisto makes it a private draft. Your client keeps seeing the gallery you delivered, at the same link, until you push your changes live. Nothing you do reaches them in the meantime. They won’t see a half-edited gallery, an “under construction” page or a broken link while you work.

So there are two copies: the live gallery your client sees, and the draft you’re editing. The draft only replaces the live gallery when you choose “Push live”. If an enquiry or a shoot interrupts you, the draft waits for you. Nothing is published until you say so.

What you can change

You can keep changing a delivered gallery. You can add more photos any time, and they only reach your client once you push live, at the same link they already have.

Versions: every push is an undo point

Every time you push live, Tellisto saves that version. If a change didn’t turn out the way you hoped, roll back to an earlier version in one click. One careless edit can’t lose your work.

How far back you can go depends on your plan. The free plan keeps your last published version, so you can always go back one push. Pro lets you choose how much history to keep: Off, 1, 5, 10, 25, or Unlimited saved versions. Set it to Unlimited and every push you’ve ever made stays available to roll back to.

Because you can always roll back, you can edit a live gallery without treating each change as final.

See it before your client does

Before you push, you can preview the draft exactly as your client will see it. Open it on its own link, as they would, and check the cover, the order, the set names and how it looks on a phone.

You can preview past versions the same way. Each version, and the current draft, has its own link, so you can open two side by side and compare them before you push. Push, check, and if it’s wrong, roll back and try again. What you preview is exactly what your client gets.

When you’ll use this

Most of the time you deliver a gallery and never touch it again. When you do come back, it’s usually for something small and specific.

You notice a typo an hour after sending, so you fix the set name and push live. A client asks you to take a photo down, or you decide one doesn’t belong after all, so you remove it and push. You send a sneak peek of the highlights the night of the shoot, then add the full set once you’ve finished editing. Or you come back a week later, swap a couple of frames and the cover, and push a better gallery to the same link without telling anyone.

None of these need a new gallery, a new link or an apologetic email. Your client opens the link they already have and sees the finished gallery, because they never see the draft.
